The next layer is the human one.

I have always found myself moving one layer further out.

From registers to firmware. From the device to communication. From there to backends, applications and eventually the operation of the system.

But at the outer edge of all those layers is someone who uses the system, judges it or simply looks at it from a different perspective.

That is why I am interested not only in whether something works technically, but also in how it is perceived from the outside.
